Bagpiper Tyge Cawthon and other bagpipers throughout the USA, Canada, Australia, and Scotland gather together to honor those from the past and present that have served our country. It was an honor for Tyge Cawthon to be the only bagpiper selected from the State of Michigan to participate at this event.

A lifelong musician, he comes from a family of pipers and was introduced to Highland piping by Scottish immigrants. He famously made headlines for a solo performance from the top of the Mackinac Bridge towers, where he played “Amazing Grace” and “Scotland the Brave” in 18 mph winds.
